Base Edit: Mrs. Edit checks spelling and grammar. Ensure you specify whether you prefer to use Canadian or American spelling on the estimate page.
Organization: Mrs. Edit looks at the organization and flow of your writing, how you have organized and grouped information, and pays attention to the way you have created, used and ended your paragraphs.
Content: Mrs. Edit ensures your content is clear and complete. Specifically, she looks for clarity and completion of ideas and the evidence used to support your ideas. She also considers your audience and whether the content you have included meets their needs and expectations.
Formatting: Mrs. Edit looks for consistency with the format of your document. She examines the use of font, font size, bullets, numbering, images and tables.
Citation Method: Mrs. Edit ensures you are using the appropriate citation methods (MLA, APA, etc.,) accurately and effectively both within your document (internal citations) and in your bibliography or works cited.
Word Reduction or Word Addition: Are you under or over the required word count? Mrs. Edit will cut or add words to ensure your word count meets the requirement.
Creative Writing Feedback: Are you working on a creative writing piece and want professional editorial feedback before you submit your work for publication? Mrs. Edit will provide you with detailed editorial notes and feedback, including suggestions for improvement, spotting inconsistencies and general writing advice.
ESL Clients: Mrs. Edit provides extra care to her ESL clients, which is why she charges them a little extra per word. Helping ESL writers improve their language and writing skills takes extra time, effort and dedication.
24 Hour Turnaround: Need your document proofread and edited right now? Mrs. Edit will edit your document and return it to you within 24 hours after payment is received.
48 Hour Turnaround: Need your document proofread and edited immediately? Mrs. Edit will edit your document and return it to you within 48 hours after payment is received.
72 Hour Turnaround: Mrs. Edit will edit your document and return it to you within her standard time frame of 72 hours or longer after payment is received. A specific turn around time based on your needs and document type will be confirmed during the quote process.
